Referring DVM

CVSS is a traveling small animal surgical service, dedicated to provide high quality surgical care to your patients in the convenience of your hospital. We offer a large variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, these services are provided in an elective as well as in emergency basis in a timely manner.

Dr. Marcos Haase brings his own sterilized surgical equipment and supplies including gowns, drapes, general surgical instruments, suture, power orthopedic tools, implants, and sterile surgical patient dressings. He has certification in TTA surgery by Kyon Pharma, after personally training in TTA technique with the actual creator and internationally known expert of the TTA surgical concept, Dr. Slobodan Tepic.

Dr. Haase is a listed TTA surgeon with Kyon for North and South Carolina. He also offers advanced ALPS plating for advanced fracture repair, and utilizes only top of the line orthopedic equipment and implants. Extracapsular cruciate repair, FHO, IM pinning, cerclage, as well as emergency soft tissue surgeries are additional services CVSS can provide on-site.

He takes meticulous care in patient preparation and surgical room setup, as well as administers IV antibiotics to minimize risks of infection throughout the pre-surgical, surgical, and post-operative periods. He is also a strong advocate and believer in multi-modal comprehensive pain management for maximum patient comfort by combining various forms of analgesia administration including injections, local blocks, IV continuous infusions, anti inflammatories, and oral medications.

CVSS charges a surgical fee to the hospital that includes all services, implants, and surgical supplies, and the hospital can include this charge within regular hospital estimates alongside other related items to the client including anesthesia, monitoring, hospitalizaton, medications administered, bloodwork, radiographs, etc.  This allows additional hospital income that is normally lost when referring to a specialty or emergency center, while minimizing patient discomfort during transfer, avoiding transfer of unstable patients,  and providing convenience to owners, continuity of care and communication between doctors.

Comprehensive surgical reports as well as go home instructions and treatment plans will be provided to owners and general practices, and surgical pricing to the hospital includes follow up visits with Dr. Haase to maintain a close relationship with patients and owners following procedures based on the needs of the patient. All go home instructions will include the personal email and phone numbers of Dr. Haase as well in case of any urgent questions for peace of mind.
